South Tabor 3

On this day I walked from 67th to 73rd, Division to Woodard. This neighborhood includes several of my absolute favorite blocks in Portland. As a realtor, I'm always pleased to take listings or help buyers in this area as the houses are of outstanding quality, great square footage and style for the price, and run the gamut of styles even within the mid-century timeline.

Mostly built in the 1950's and early 60's, the houses are primarily large standard hipped roofed ranches with full basements (and sometime swimming pools!) or modern ranches of post and beam construction with vaulted beamed ceiling and nifty mod kitchens, placed on tidy blocks with a view of Mt. Tabor. Houses in this neighborhood are coveted and sell quickly. They may not have walkability, but they sure have a nice view!

Six month sales run from $198K to $311K. The tracts include Crater View, Raschio's Addition, Eastleigh, Parkdale, Dawn View, Bottemiller, Jones-n-Fite, Irmington, Anjelesa.
